An eco-centric approach to sustainable community development

  Abstract

This reflections piece challenges community development workers to engage, in more systematic ways, with environmental issues at a local, national and global level. It argues that only by adopting an eco-centric rationale will community development achieve the goals of sustainable communities and social justice.
